Woman arrested for stabbing Rockford man in forehead

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the forehead several times.

Rockford Police responded to the 1000 block of 24th Street just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. There, a 35-year-old man told police he had been stabbed several times in the forehead by his ex-girlfriend, Cherita Hanson during an argument.

Hanson was arrested a short time later. She has been charged with Aggravated Battery.
