Group of Chinese students visit Rockford schools


Rockford Lutheran and Boylan Catholic High School are getting a visit from students from Yucheng, China this week.

A total of eight students and three adults are in the group and four of those students will be shadowing four Lutheran girls throughout the week. The other four students will shadow students at Boylan Catholic High School.

"I think its very different from my school in China and the classmates are very friendly," Jin Yu, a student from Yucheng said.

During their visit the students will visit RAEDC, Wanxiang, and the Burpee Museum. There will also be time for fun with visits to the Pumpkin Patch and Edwards Apple Orchard. The students will go on to Chicago on Friday.
