Getting help with your home heating bills

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

The City of Rockford begins the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program for the fall.

Known as LIHEAP, the program provides money to people that qualify for assistance based on several factors.

Sign up is already underway for seniors and people with disabilities. Sign up begins today for disconnected homes and those with children under the age of 5. Sign up for the general public begins Tuesday, November 6.
