Three suspects arrested after Rockford home invasion

Charges are being considered against three people arrested in a Rockford home invasion.

The incident happened at 2132 Parmele Street just before 1:00 p.m. Friday. No one was hurt. Police arrested one man, who had a gun, at Parmele and 20th Avenue. Two other suspects were arrested in the 2100 block of 10th Street.

Jarell Lathan, 18, of Rockford, is charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons, No FOID, Home Invasion, Residential Burglary, and Defacing the Identification of a firearm.

Cedric Jones, 17, of Rockford, is charged with Home Invasion, Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Gang Member, No FOID, Residential Burglary, and Aggravated Discharge of a Weapon.

A 15-year-old boy is from Rockford is charged with Residential Burglary and Conspiracy to Commit Residential Burglary.
