Rockford man shot in drive-by shooting - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

A man walking in an alley around 4:40 a.m. Friday was shot by someone in a car that drove by.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was shot at 3-4 times but only hit once in the ankle. He got a ride to a hospital with a friend.
The incident happened in the south alley of 2400 Broadway. Police are looking for a green Neon vehicle believed to be used in the shooting. If you know anything about this case call the Rockford Police Department at 815-987-5824 or Crimestoppers at 815-963-7867.
