ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church invited everyone in the region to experience Greek culture today.

Grecian music, food, and clothing were all on display for people to enjoy this afternoon. Today was also about honoring the Greek community's contribution to Rockford.

"It's always been a minority, but it's a very important minority. I think a number of our Greek individuals in the city have made significant contributions to our community," said festival attendee Tony Alexander.

You can check out Greek Fest Sunday from 11am until 9pm. Part of the proceeds benefit the Rock River Valley Food Pantry.
