No dogs rule goes into effect at Rockford City Market

The Rockford City Market instituted new rules this summer after attendance skyrocketed, and now the most controversial one is going into effect.

As of Friday, August 17, no dogs will be allowed at the market due to safety and sanitary reasons. Since food is prepared and sold at the market, having animals there is a health hazard. Service animals, however, will still be allowed.
