3 arrested for drugs at Winnebago and Montague in Rockford - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

Three men were arrested Wednesday after Rockford Police Detectives conducted a narcotics investigation at Winnebago and Montague.

McKinley Hoarde Jr., Christopher C. Culbert, and Rockwood C. Johnson, were all arrested on heroin charges. Hypodermic syringes were located on Culbert and Johnson. Police also searched Hoarde's home in the 1200 block of South Court Street where they found about 14 grams of a substance they believe to be heroin and a firearm.

The men face the following charges:

• McKinley Hoarde Jr., 62, Rockford
  
  • Possession with intent to deliver heroin in a drug free zone
  • Unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon
• Christopher C. Culbert, 27, Rockford
  
  • Attempt to possess heroin
  • Possession of a hypodermic syringe
• Rockwood C. Johnson, 25, Rockton
  
  • Attempt to possess heroin
  • Possession of a hypodermic syringe

A photograph of Culbert is not currently available. Hoarde is on probation in Winnebago County for a previous drug offense and Culbert and Johnson are both on parole in Winnebago County.
