15th Judicial Circuit seeks comments on applicants for vacancy

OREGON (WREX) -

Ten people have applied for the vacant position in the Office of the Associate Judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit.

The circuit covers Carroll, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, and Stephenson Counties. The Circuit Judges are asking anyone with any knowledge of the following candidates to submit comment on the candidate to the Chief Judge:

  • Constance L. Augsburger
  • Alan W. Cargerman
  • Wendy S. Howarter
  • Clayton L. Lindsey
  • Carol P. Linkowski
  • Eric D. Murrow
  • Anthony W. Peska
  • John C. Redington
  • Michael C. Rock
  • Byron N. Sloan

Comments can be sent to Hon. Val Gunnarsson, Chief Judge, 106 S. 5th Street, Suite 306A, Oregon, IL 61061. Comments should be received no later than August 27 and anonymous comments will not be considered. Circuit Judges will vote on the candidates.
