Class helps Rockford seniors become Facebook savvy

A class being given by the Rockford Public Library hopes to get area seniors more connected with their families through Facebook.

The three-week class takes place at the library's Rockton Center Branch. Each class builds on the one before and the program's coordinator says it will help seniors aged 55 and over connect with their family and friends in a new way.

The Rockford Public Library Rockton Center Branch is located at 3112 North Rockton Avenue. For more information on the next class, you can call 815-965-7606.
