Rockford Police arrest 2 teens for burglary


Just before 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Rockford Police arrested two boys for residential burglary after a someone reported three people breaking into a residence.

On arrival, officers saw three people fleeing from the back of 4214 O'Connell. Officers chased the subjects and located two of them. Property stolen from the home was recovered by officers from the path of the subjects as well as on their person.

The following charges were made:

  • Quincy Wright, 17, Rockford
    • Residential burglary
    • Resisting
  • Juvenile male (name withheld), Rockford
    • Residential burglary
    • Resisting
    • Battery

Rockford Police are not officially releasing any photos due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
