Rockford Park District looking to hire instructors

If you are a local job seeker and love the outdoors, the Rockford Park District is looking for you.

Their Environmental Recreation and Education department held an Employment Open House at the Atwood Center on Thursday. They want to hire up to 20 new instructors for ages 5 and up. All positions require leading tours and programs, and most importantly, a passion for teaching kids.

E.R.E. Manager Becky Lambert says the perfect candidate, "likes the outdoors, likes kids and is someone willing to share their passion for the outdoors or natural environments with those kids."
