Man shot in back in Rockford

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A man walks in to Rockford's SwedishAmerican Hospital after someone shoots him in the back.

It happened around 6pm at Illinois Avenue and South Main Streets. Rockford Police describe the 21-year-old victim's injuries as serious. They're on the lookout for a tan or cream colored 4-door Pontiac.
