ROCKFORD (WREX) -
Local rowers Ross and Grant James were three tenths of a second away from a Bronze medal, but that doesn't mean they haven't enjoyed their Olympic experience. 13 News Reporter Rebecca Klopf met up with the twin rowers in London and spoke to them about the race.
"It's really exciting, the last 500 meters the crowds are just cheering and roaring. We couldn't hear anything, absolutely nothing, it was so loud. It was an amazing feeling, but to come that close and to look at the board and see three tenths was all it was going to take...it's going to hurt but it is what it is and we had a good race," the twins said.
Stay tuned to 13 News throughout the remainder of the Olympics for more of Rebecca's updates from London.
