Man sent to prison for driving without a license

ROCKFORD -

A man is sentenced after he admits to driving without a license. Gaylon Triplett will go to prison for six years.

Triplett was arrested in April after he was pulled over by Rockford Police for a traffic stop.  Police say Triplett didn't have a license, because he had a prior DUI.  The Winnebago County State's Attorney's office says Triplett was also caught at least one time before this one for driving without a license.  He'll have to serve six years, because he was on probation for Possession with Intent to Deliver charges.
