"Let's Go to Work!" program kicks off at Goodwill

HUNTLEY (WREX) - Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois announces a new program to provide employment opportunities for people.

"Let's Go to Work!" started last week at Goodwill's Huntley location, at 11900 Kreutzer Road.  Employees sort, bag, and label donations.  Goodwill says it is a chance not only to provide a supportive work environment, but also to offer case management to people in the program.

Goodwill teamed up with the Pioneer Center for Human Services in McHenry to make this possible.  It plans to work with other organizations in the future to bring this opportunity to more communities.  The next one on the list is Freeport.
