Dofflemyer Sets Course Record in Women's City


Hui Chong Dofflemyer fired an Atwood Homestead course record 65 from the women's gold tees in Monday's first round of the Rockford Women's Golf Classic.

Dofflemyer played a bogey free round to take command of the top seed as the tournament switches to match play for the final three rounds.

Dofflemyer faces off with 8th seeded Allison Graceffa in the championship flight opener of match play. Number 2 seed Cynthia Bounleutay takes on Samantha Makovec. Both of those matchups tee off at 7:00 a.m.

Just after them, 3rd seeded Alison Gorman takes on number 6 seed Kellsey Welter. In the 4-5 seed matchup, Melissa VanSistine faces Elizabeth Curtiss.
