Friday Night Flix features "Miracle" this week

Downtown movie-goers get amped up for the Olympic games.

This week's Friday Night Flix featured "Miracle", the movie about the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team. There was also a screening of local filmmaker Pablo Korona's latest "Our City, Our Story" installment. That series explores individual stories that help make our city unique.

BMO Harris Bank Center's Events Co-coordinator, Gina Nassivera, says the short films, "help people recognize that there are great things about this city... they help bring people together and to realize that Rockford is a great place to live."

Next week's Friday Night Flix is "UP".
