L.I.P.P. Expo showcases women business owners

Posted: Updated:

A business expo in Loves Park shows off some serious girl power.

34 vendors from around the area came to the Sears Essentials parking lot selling everything from jewelry, to handcrafted items, and even gourmet dog treats. The event is hosted by ladies in professional power or L.I.P.P.

The organization's founder says the expo helps promote local businesses who may not have the funds to promote themselves.

"A lot of people don't have a store front, can't afford it. So this is our opportunity to help them out by holding an event like this," said L.I.P.P. Founder Daisy Botti.

This is the organization's second year running the expo.
