14 year old girl shot in arm during Rockford home invasion

Rockford police were called to an early morning home invasion that left a 14 year old girl suffering from a gun shot wound.

Just after 3:30 a.m. police arrived at the 4100 block of Auburn Street. Officers found the girl, who was shot in her right arm. and a 15 year old male who was beaten up.

According to police two suspects forced their way in through the home's front door, one with a handgun, and left before police got there.
