Roscoe man killed in motorcycle crash - – Rockford’s News Leader

UPDATED: Roscoe man killed in motorcycle crash

According to an autopsy carried out on Tuesday, Donald Litton was legally intoxicated at the time of his crash, and died as a result of traumatic cardiac arrhythmia. According to Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia, Litton suffered the arrhythmia because of the stress of losing control of his motorcycle; the arrhythmia did not cause the crash.

We now know the name of the man killed this morning in a motorcycle crash in Machesney Park.

According to Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia he is Donald "Scott" Litton, 55.  Litton is from Roscoe.  He was pronounced dead at the scene off Forest Hills Road shortly after 4:00am. An autopsy is scheduled for later today.  Fiduccia says alcohol was involved in the accident.

Winnebago County Sheriff's Police are investigating.
