Danny Gorman finished off a 10 stroke win at the Greater Rockford Boys Classic Friday at Ingersoll.
Gorman shot a 5-under 66 in his final round after shooting a 68 in his first round. Will Drerup was the next closest golfer, 10 shots behind Gorman.
Gorman didn't feel any pressure coming into the final round with the lead.
"I tried to stay within myself and not get too excited," Gorman said. "Toward the end I started to get a little happy with myself. It feels really good. I put in all the practice and it's finally paying off."
Gorman also won the Boys Classic last year. On Monday he'll play in the Rockford Pro-Am with the Alpine Bank foursome. Joey Keefer, Melissa VanSistine and Bailey Peck join him in the group that will play with D.A. Points.
