Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says the baby was a boy. They've nicknamed him "Noah". Fiduccia says the baby was a white newborn. They're not sure yet how he died, or whether he was born alive. An autopsy on the baby is scheduled for tomorrow.
Winnebago County Sheriff's Police investigate, after the body of a baby is found in Roscoe.
Investigators were called to One Source Recycling at 13125 N. 2nd Street this morning. Deputy Chief Dominic Iasparro says workers, sorting trash, found the baby's body on a conveyer belt. It happened around 8:45am. Crews are still on the scene.
