Man arrested for breaking into cars in Rockford


Rockford Police arrest a man for breaking into several cars on the city's west side.

It happened early this morning at 2014 Elm Street.  Police say Diquan Bryant, 18 was dressed in black, wearing gloves and his pockets were bulging full of stuff.  Officers say one of the items was a portable GPS unit. Police were able to turn that unit on, and find the owner. Other victims were found after a more complete investigation.  Bryant faces three counts of burglary to a motor vehicle charges.
