Gunman sticks up pizza delivery driver in Rockford

Rockford Police respond to an armed gunman sticking up a pizza man.

It happened just after 10:30pm last night in the 3800 block of 15th avenue.

The victim is a Villa Di Roma driver. He was walking around the corner of an apartment building when he ran into a man with a silver semi-automatic handgun.

The gunman took cash from the driver and ran from scene. Police used a dog to search the area, but did not find the suspect.
