Hannah joined WREX in May of 2012 as a multi-media journalist.
Hannah is originally from Butler, Pennsylvania, a small town north of Pittsburgh. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2012.
She got her first taste of the television business as an intern at CBS News in New York City during the summer of 2011.
"I've wanted to be a news reporter since I was in high school. Ever since I first saw Katie Couric on the Today Show, I knew that's what I wanted to be when I grew up."
Hannah says she loves the intensity a news day brings. "I've always loved the fast pace of the news world. But most of all, I love telling the stories of others. Being able to give a voice to the voiceless always makes you really proud and humbled to be a reporter."
When she's off the job, Hannah tries to get back home to visit family, hangs out with friends and likes to workout. She also loves to golf when the weather is nice and can't wait to Anderson Japanese Gardens and the parks in the Rockford area.
In the wintertime, she loves to snow ski! "Going out west to Colorado is my favorite! There's nothing quite like the Rocky Mountains!"
