DeKalb Police asking for help in copper theft investigation

DeKalb County Police are asking for the public's help in solving two instances of theft of copper from two cell towers.

The thefts occurred on May 17th and 18th. The first occurred overnight at a cell tower site in the 16000 block of University Road south of Malta. The second occurred overnight at a cell tower site in the 18000 block of Chase Road south of Cortland. Numerous lengths of copper wire were cut and taken from the location, as well as copper plates from the towers themselves.
