
A Woodstock man has been arrested after investigators found drugs, guns, and 22 fighting equipped roosters on his property.
A search warrant was executed by the McHenry County Sheriff's SWAT Team and K-9 Unit at 54-year-old Anthony Jayne's home at 11813 Lucas Road on May 19. The search yielded 1,151 grams of cannabis, a shotgun, a small caliber rifle, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, scales and other packaging related items, 43 suspected cannabis sativa plants, 22 fighting equipped roosters, two dead hawks, and $88,969. McHenry County Animal Control assisted with the roosters and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police addressed the dead hawks.
Jayne faces the following charges:
His bond was set at $30,000 and his next court date will be May 31.
