A German Valley girl's motivation to end bullying has brought the attention of a national wrestling star.
Paige Reubin, a 10-year-old German Valley Elementary student was tired of the bullying going on at her school. After speaking with her father, Paige decided to set up a local chapter of the World Wrestling Entertainment's anti-bullying alliance "be a STAR." STAR stands for "Show Tolerance And Respect."
Paige's father tweeted about her efforts to end bullying, which got the attention of the WWE. Inspired by her initiative, WWE star David Otunga will visit German Valley Elementary Wednesday afternoon to speak to over 100 students about being bullied.
The "be a STAR" alliance aims to ensure a positive social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts based on education and awareness.
