RVC offering cultural tour of Detroit

The Rock Valley College Black History and Culture Committee will explore Detroit's African-American history and cultural background.

The trip includes visits to:

• The Underground Railroad Memorial at Hart Plaza
• Motown Museum
• Second Baptist Church of Detroit Underground Railroad Tour
• Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History
• First Congregational Church of Detroit

The bus will leave Rock Valley's Parking Lot 10 at 6am on April 13 and return at approximately 9pm on April 15.

The cost is $150 per person and includes a three day, two night hotel stay, one meal, transportation, and admissions costs into the above locations.

Registration can be made at the Student Life office on Rock Valley's main campus or by calling 815-921-4180. Payment is due at the time of registration. Registration deadline is March 30.
