Woman found dead inside Rockford McDonald's

Investigators say they found the body of a 30-year-old Poplar Grove woman who appears to have overdosed on drugs inside a McDonald's bathroom.

The woman's body was found inside the restaurant at North Main Street and West Riverside Monday night.

Rockford police are handling the case as a death investigation. Detectives are waiting on autopsy results to determine her exact cause of death.
