ROCK COUNTY (WREX) -

A Janesville man was hurt in a crash that investigators say was caused by driving too fast on slippery roads.

Police say Lukas Jun-Sok Roth, 19, of Delavan, lost control of his 2006 Pontiac Vibe on E. USH 14 by S. Carvers Rock Rd. in Bradford Township around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Roth slid into oncoming traffic and hit a 2002 Buick LeSabre driven by Scott Roberts, 42 of Janesville.

The crash caused the roads to be shutdown for about an hour.

Both men were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville with non-life threatening injuries.

Roth was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
