Governor Pat Quinn was given a C grade on jobs Monday.
Illinois Chamber of Commerce President Doug Whitley gave the governor a C grade on his job-creation policies. Whitley then praised Quinn for renewing focus on international trade, but says the governor has not done enough to curb state spending.
Quinn responded that he believed the United Auto Workers would give him an A thanks to his role in convincing Chrysler to bring 1,800 jobs to its Belvidere plant.
