ROCKFORD (WREX)

Rockford College offered prospective students a sneak peak on their campus.
It was all part of the college's February Visit Day. Those interested got a change to meet with admissions counselors, teachers and current students.
Representatives for the college say those types of events help students figure out what type of school is best for them.
Rockford "College has to be a good fit for you," said Rockford College Assistant Admissions Director Rebecca Miziniak. "It's going to be your home for 4 years, or 2 years if you are transferring so you want to make sure that you're comfortable it's a place you can see yourself. When people go and visit, there's so many different opportunities, so to be able to come, make sure this is a place you want to be, that's what we're all about."
The college waived it's application fee for anyone who applied at Saturday's visit day.
