Timothy SimmonsROCKFORD (WREX) -
A 46-year-old man is in custody after police find drugs and guns inside his home.
Police arrested Timothy Simmons after searching his home at 501 S. Springfield Avenue.
Officers found crack cocaine, marijuana, two loaded guns, cash and electronic surveillance equipment inside the home.
Simmons is charged with:
- Violation of the Controlled Substance Act with Intent to Deliver within a 1000 feet of a park
- Violation of the Cannabis Control Act
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (2 counts)
- No Valid Firearm Owners Identification Card
- Criminal Fortification of a Residence
- Criminal Defacement of a Firearm
