Beloit man sentenced for domestic abuse

JANESVILLE (WREX) -

A Beloit man was sentenced to prison for domestic abuse in Rock County.

Edward B. Bick, 42, was sentenced by a judge in Rock County on Friday for abusing his girlfriend on June 10, 2008. What began as a verbal altercation left the victim with bite marks on her face and loss of consciousness from being repeatedly choked by Bick.

Bick was ordered to serve five years in prison and an additional five years of extended supervision, resulting in a total sentence of ten years imprisonment.
