Set of train tracks being torn out of downtown Rockford

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A set of train tracks in downtown Rockford is being ripped out as part of the Morgan Street Bridge Project.

Crews are ripping out the tracks near the Behr scrap yard to build a walking path as part of the project to revitalize the Morgan Street Bridge area.
