Names released in fatal accident Winnebago County accident - WREX.com – Rockford’s News Leader

According to the Winnebago County coroner 29 year old Angela M. Schaffer of Rockton died on the scene of a car accident.
It happened on Freeport Road near Winslow Road in Durand. Schaffer was the a passenger of 1994 Buick LaSabre that crashed into an electric pole.
The car caught on fire after impact. Schaffer died in the flames.
Police believe the driver, 32 year old Andrew Edgar, was drunk at the time. He charged with two counts of aggravated DUI involving a death.
Edgar is in the Winnebago County Jail with no bond.
