ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A Rockford man takes his talent to South Korea. After a car crash in 2004 landed Tim Kelly in a wheelchair, he learned a new sport, curling. He joined a curling club and found out he was quite good at the sport. His strategy and technique bring him all across the globe.

Tim recently qualified for the World Wheelchair Championship in Chuncheon South Korea. "I also competed in Cape Cod with an international wheelchair spiel with teams from Scotland Russia Canada and the U.S." says Tim.

Tim will compete with the four other members of the National Curling Team in February, a group that shares strategy and life lessons. "You have teammates and you all have similar disabilities and you learn from each other and you teach each other ways to cope and to do new things," says Tim.
