Golden Apple teacher nominees honored at special reception

The hundreds of teachers nominated for this year's Golden Apple Teacher Awards are honored at a special reception Wednesday.

The event was held at the Radisson Hotel on Bell School Road Wednesday evening.

More than 500 teachers are up for this year's awards. You can see a complete list by clicking the link along the left of this page.

20 teachers will move on to the next phase of the selection process and then five will be selected for this year's awards.
