ROCKFORD (WREX) -
The day before the country marks the tenth anniversary of the 9-11 attacks some area bikers honor veterans. Kegal Harley-Davidison hosted the Harley's Heroes Tour. The group brings a mobile Disabled American Veterans office to let people who served know what help is available.
"They served in the military, got injured in the military, yet it's a quest for them to get service. That's our primary purpose," says Zachary Keene, Service Officer for Disabled American Veterans.
Sunday, local Harley group will help break ground at Winnebago County's 9-11 Emergency Responders Memorial at the Winnebago County Justice Center.
