Man wanted for Rockford murder arrested

MACHESNEY PARK (WREX) -

A Rockford murder suspect is arrested in Machesney Park.

Antwan Maxey, 26 was wanted for first degree murder.  Police say he shot and killed Charles Spivey back in January at a house party at 2003 Sherman Avenue. Winnebago County Sheriff's Police found Maxey on Beach Street in Machesney Park.  He's being held in the Winnebago County Jail.

Two other men, Lamont Cole and Clifford Horton were also arrested for this murder.  All three men face first degree murder charges.
