Man wanted for Rockford murder arrested in Arkansas

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

A Rockford man is arrested in Little Rock, Arkansas for a murder.

Leonard R. Fricks, 31 was wanted on a first degree murder warrant.  Police say Fricks shot and killed Martin Jefferson, 26 in May in the 2800 Block of Overdene.  Little Rock Police found Fricks inside a home there, and say he tried giving them a false name before he was arrested.  He's being held in the Pulaski County Jail, until he comes back to Winnebago County to face charges.
