Investment broker donates office furniture to Carpenter's Place

ROCKFORD (WREX) - Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's move to a new furnished office is a big win for Carpenter's Place.

As a result of the move, the company has ended up with extra office furniture that it is donating to the not-for-profit agency that works with homeless adults to rebuild their lives.

Rockford branch manager, James Meisch noted, "Rather than sell it, we decided to donate it to a local charity.  Carpenter's Place was suggested as a potential agency to select, we checked them out and agreed it was the right place!"

"In addition to the furniture, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is also providing staff as volunteer movers to make the transition happen!  They are truly like angels," said a smiling Sheri Glover of Carpenter's Place who coordinated the office transformation.
