ROCKFORD (WREX) - A motorcyclist is charged with driving under the influence in Friday night's accident.  Rockford Police say a group of motorcycles was on Perryville Road when a police car, with lights and sirens, came through on Guilford Road.

Most of the motorcycles stopped, but police say Ricky Tapp kept going.  They say he hit another motorcycle that did stop.

He and his passenger, Margaret Dahl, both flew off of the motorcycle.  Both went to the hospital.  Tapp suffered serious injuries.  Dahl is in critical condition.  Police say she has life threatening injuries.

Tapp is charged with driving under the influence.
