Mock trial held at Rockford Career College.By Marissa Sherer
ROCKFORD (WREX) - Students at Rockford Career College find out what all goes into a trial.
On Thursday, the school held its annual mock trial. The paralegal students at the school play the parts of prosecutors, defense attorneys and victims.
Before the trial starts they have to do all the leg work just like they'll do in the real world. "The students get a tremendous charge out of it. They're all really pumped for it today. It's a big day at the college," said Rockford Career College Dept. Chair Jeff Swanberg.
Most of the students participating in the mock trial are graduating at the end of the quarter.
