
120 McLain Avenue - Rockford

ROCKFORD - Flames and smoke caused heavy damage to a home Wednesday afternoon.
The fire at 120 McLain Avenue near State and Springfield started around 2:00 p.m. When crews got to the scene the home was fully engulfed by flames.
No one was hurt, but one man was inside when the smoke detecotrs started going off. He got out uninjured.
The cause is under investigation, but it appears to have started at the back of the house and spread throughout.
