This year's Holiday Festival of Lights in Sinnissippi Park starts Sunday, November 30 and will run through Sunday, December 28.A little snow added to the traditional lighting of the Sinnissippi Park tree and Festival of Lights Display.

Traffic Route Change
Due to neighborhood concerns about traffic congestion the entrance route will be changed. To enter the festival off of North Second Street, traffic will now have to turn left on Arlington Street, then turn immediately left again into Sinnissippi Park. Traffic will NOT drive past residential homes along Arlington.
After viewing the displays cars will still exit onto Arlington and Ethel.
This means the entrance and exit will be the same road divided by barricades.
People are discouraged from trying to enter the festival from Prospect since this park entrance will be barricaded off.
New Hours
Also due to neighborhood concerns about traffic congestion, the festival will be open less days this year. The festival will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The only exception will be Christmas Eve and Christmas Day which fall on a Wednesday and Thursday.
General Information
The Holiday Festival of Lights started in 1989 with just 12 displays and has grown to over 50 displays in Sinnissippi Park.
This year's festival runs from Sunday, November 30 through Sunday, December 28.
