CHICAGO - Detectives think Jennifer Hudson's young nephew was killed in the SUV where he was found.
An anonymous officer says they believe Julian King, 7, was alive when he left the home where his family members were killed.
A week ago, his uncle and grandmother were found shot to death. Private funerals for all three are set for next week, and the Hudson family also plans to announce a public memorial service.
A charitable foundation has been established in memory of them. It'll provide food, clothing, shelter and grief counseling to relatives of violent crime victims.
