A Winnebago middle school teacher gave birth to not one, not two, but four babies!
Kim Mecum delivered the babies Friday morning at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She had invitro fertilization with three embryos, and one split into twins. She is now the proud mom of four healthy babies.
"I'm pleased that they're healthy," Mecum said. "That was the main goal. And this was the place to be."
The last time Rockford Memorial Hospital delivered quadruplets was six years ago.
